Frequently asked questions
Which Facebook links work?
Public videos, Reels and Watch videos work. Paste the full facebook.com link or a fb.watch short link.
Can I download private Facebook videos?
No. Only public videos can be fetched — videos shared in private groups or with friends-only privacy are not accessible.
Is HD quality available?
Yes, when Facebook serves an HD stream for that video it appears as a format option alongside SD.
Can I save the audio only?
Yes. When the source provides an audio track, an MP3 option appears alongside the video formats.
Why did a Facebook link fail?
Private or deleted videos, login-required content and mistyped links can't be fetched. Make sure the video is public.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no account and nothing to install — though you can add SaveClips to your home screen like an app.
